Jo – Best Man

The other Jo in my life! We met at Cambridge and cultivated a shared love of tea and closed ski pistes. She's a sailor and a banker, and has combined this with her missed vocation in running huge events, like university sailing, Olympic sailing, stag dos...

Team Joe

Tom

After Cambridge Tom joined the army, and came back from Afghanistan with tales such as working through maths papers while on long nights manning the radios. Can usually be found dangling off a climbing wall or actual mountain.

Dave

The tallest of the maths crew, and fellow hockey player for the college. He beat me in every game of squash we ever played. If you ask him really nicely he'll give you a great impression of a pterodactyl.

Pete

One of my oldest school friends. We spent so much time together behind the drums in every band they'd let us near, in school and all over Europe, that we were practically telepathic.

We are hugely grateful to a bunch of excellent friends for their support, giggles and

gentle harassment, both in planning the wedding and in everyday life. Thank you!

Toby & Robin

My little brothers who have always followed eagerly in my footsteps, whether into drumming, Caius or marriage proposals. During the course of our childhood I gave them both hospitalising injuries (though hopefully they don't remember!)

Mum & Dad (Cheryl & Matt)

That early telling off about stealing mum's After Eights did the trick to set me on the straight and narrow. Thank you for everything you've done for us over these years, for so much help getting the wedding together (who knew there were so many different types of ribbon?), and for welcoming Jo as the shopping partner mum never had!
